About this solution

Objectives

1. Apply ERP systems to integrated business management

Students use ERP software (such as SAP, Odoo and Dolibarr) to manage business modules for sales, accounting, warehouse and production, understanding how departments are integrated and how digital information flows work.

2. Use professional software for accounting and economic simulation

Using accounting and management tools (Zucchetti, Danea, Passepartout), students develop skills in recording transactions, preparing financial statements and managing digital documents.

3. Design, query and manage business databases

The lab includes SQL environments (MySQL, PostgreSQL), data modelling applications (Access, LibreOffice Base, Power BI) and platforms for programming and data management.

4. Simulate real business scenarios and operational activities

Teaching activities include handling business documents (invoices, orders, financial statements), simulating company roles, managing document registers and working in realistic environments, using structured tools and materials.

Educational Aims

1. Consolidate management and digital skills

Students develop an in-depth knowledge of business administrative and IT processes, working on up-to-date digital platforms, professional software environments and relational databases.

2. Foster business thinking and an understanding of information flows

The business simulation lets students analyse and understand information flows between the different business functions, supporting the development of systems thinking and practical problem solving.

3. Promote operational autonomy and digital security

The lab is equipped with tools for data protection, backup, user authentication and a protected simulated environment, raising awareness of the importance of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.

4. Integrate theory, practice and the professional context

All activities are consistent with the needs of the SIA (Business Information Systems) profile and of digitalised businesses, with a strong focus on real-world operations and on preparation for life after the diploma and after ITS.
