Questo adattatore PCIe SATA a 4 porte utilizza una combinazione di chip a prestazioni elevate Asmedia (ASM1061+ASM1093) per estendere 4 porte SATA. Ogni porta ATA seriale supporta velocità di trasmissione fino a 6 Gbps ed è retrocompatibile con unità SATA legacy a 1.5 Gbps o 3 Gbps. Inoltre, la scheda supporta la funzionalità di commutazione modalità e può facilmente passare tra i sistemi IDE o AHCI.
