New ERDF Notice “Scuola e Competenze” 2021-2027: Innovative Labs in Technical and Vocational Institutes

Who is the New ERDF Call “Scuola e Competenze” 2021-2027 for Innovative Labs in Technical and Vocational Institutes aimed at?

The call is open exclusively to state upper secondary schools offering technical or vocational programmes, located in the following regions:

• Basilicata
• Calabria
• Campania
• Molise
• Puglia
• Sardinia
• Sicily

Purpose and objectives of the notice

The initiative aims to support the creation of advanced, accessible labs designed to strengthen the technical skills required by the labour market. The spaces must be inclusive, adaptable, multifunctional and technologically advanced, to encourage hands-on learning in areas such as:

• Production and maintenance
• Internal and external logistics
• Purchasing and sales
• After-sales services

Funding amount and eligible costs

Each school may apply for up to €201,000. The resources must be divided among the following cost items:

• Design: max 2%
• Organisational and management costs: max 5%
• Supply of goods and equipment: min 85%
• Publicity: max 1%
• Testing and acceptance: max 1%
• Training in the use of equipment: max 1%
• Minor building adaptations: max 5%

Selection criteria

Project proposals will be assessed out of a maximum of 100 points on the basis of the following criteria:

• Higher early school leaving rate (max 30 points)
• Socio-economic status of students (max 18 points)
• Inclusiveness and accessibility of the spaces (20 points)
• Equal opportunities (13 points)
• Consistency with the PN and the PTOF (school’s three-year educational plan) (6 points)
• Previous project experience (max 13 points)

Deadlines and how to apply

Schools can submit their application via the SIF2127 platform:

• Opening: 5 June 2025 at 15:00
• Deadline: 8 July 2025 at 18:00

The project must include the Unique Project Code (CUP), generated according to the operating instructions available in the “Assistenza” (Help) area of the SIF2127 information system.
