Il controller HPE Smart Array E208e-p Gen10 SR, grazie alla capacità di supporto di 12 Gb/s SAS e PCIe 3.0, fornisce una soluzione di storage a costi contenuti con affidabilità di classe Enterprise, supportando RAID 0, 1, 5 e 10 e lo storage software-defined (SDS). Questo controller dispone di otto lane SAS esterne, che consentono la connessione a unità SAS o SATA in un’enclosure di disco esterna, supporta le operazioni a modalità mista di RAID e HBA contemporaneamente e offre crittografia dei dati in archivio su qualsiasi unità. Questo controller occupa uno slot di espansione PCIe.
