About this solution

Objectives

1. Create a Modular Training System

The main aim is to provide a fully modular technical and practical training tool that simulates real security systems. The system is designed to be scalable and customisable, adapting to different learning levels, from basic to advanced, so as to train technicians who are truly ready for the world of work.

2. Develop Skills in Security

Students will learn to install, configure and maintain intruder alarm, access control, fire detection and integrated systems. The system includes VdS-certified devices and supports protocols such as KNX, Modbus and MQTT for realistic training that keeps pace with the most widely used technologies.

3. Encourage Experiential Learning

Using A4 electronic boards connected by patch leads, the system allows quick, safe and repeatable practical exercises. Each module can simulate real conditions, including faults or anomalies, to develop diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

4. Integrate Emerging Technologies

The system is designed to accommodate future extensions with technologies such as home automation, cloud, mobile apps, artificial intelligence and IP communications. This makes it possible to prepare technicians for the challenges of an evolving market, where system integration is increasingly central.

Aims

1. Train Professional Security Technicians

The aim of the project is to train professionals ready to work in the installation, maintenance and testing of security systems for residential and industrial buildings. Participants will develop certified skills that can be used in both the public and private sectors.

2. Link Theory and Practice

The system enables concrete, immediate learning in which theory is always accompanied by practice. This approach narrows the training gap between classroom and field, boosting student motivation and the acquisition of real skills.

3. Support Entry into Employment

The course includes targeted exercises, simulations of real cases and the opportunity to obtain technical certifications. All of this increases the chances of finding employment with installation, security, home automation and smart building companies.

4. Promote Continuous Professional Development

The system can be upgraded with new modules and technologies, offering a continuous learning platform for professionals in the sector. It is also suitable for refresher courses for technicians already in work who want to keep up with innovations.
