Innovative learning furniture for nurseries and preschools: €2,000 per place for municipalities

Innovative learning furniture for ages 0-6

With two notices dated 3 February 2026 (ref. no. 22870 under the PN «Scuola e competenze» 2021-2027 and ref. no. 22871 under the POC «Per la Scuola»), implementing Ministerial Decree no. 100 of 23 May 2025, the Ministry is funding the supply of innovative learning furniture for nurseries and preschools already built with PNRR funds.

Who benefits

Local authorities (municipalities) with a PNRR-funded nursery or preschool project (M4C1 I1.1): under the PN, those in Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily; under the POC, those in the other regions and the Autonomous Provinces.

Amounts and what can be funded

A grant of €2,000 for each place created and eligible for reporting, solely for the supply of innovative learning furniture for ages 0-6 (under the PN the minimum application is €200,500, and several municipalities may apply jointly). Educational services, works, transport, rentals and consumables are not eligible.

Deadlines

• first-come, first-served applications from 17 February to 3 March 2026 (closed);
• rankings published in March 2026, PN ranking extended on 7 August 2026;
• supplies delivered, tested and accepted by 31 December 2026.
