Arredi Innovativi 2025: Milan invests in its schools

“Arredi Innovativi 2025” call published

The Comune di Milano (Milan City Council) has launched the public notice “Arredi Innovativi 2025” (Innovative Furniture 2025), an initiative to promote innovation in school environments and the inclusion of students with disabilities in state first-cycle schools (primary and lower secondary schools) housed in council-owned buildings. Strand A – Innovation in learning environments

• Available funds: €550,000, split into €360,000 for primary schools and €190,000 for lower secondary schools.

• Maximum contribution per project: €40,000.

• Requirements:

  • Each Comprehensive School may submit up to two projects, one for a primary school site and one for a lower secondary school site.

  • School sites already funded in 2023 and 2024 are excluded.

  • Expenditure on IT equipment is not eligible.

• Objective: To support the transformation of school environments according to the INDIRE “1+4 educational spaces” model, encouraging more flexible, collaborative and inclusive teaching .​Servizi Milano

 Strand B – Inclusion and integration of pupils with and without disabilities

• Available funds: €125,000.

• Maximum contribution per project: €15,000.

• Requirements:

  • Each Comprehensive School may put forward only one school site.

  • Priority will be given to schools already recognised as “special schools”, for which a budget of €75,000 is reserved.

• Objective: To fund the purchase of aids and teaching tools that improve the inclusion of pupils with disabilities (for example, hearing impairment, blindness, autism spectrum disorders) .​Servizi Milano

 Documentation and how to apply

Applications must be sent exclusively via PEC by 12 May 2025. Renderings, a budget plan, a project description, Invalsi data and other specific documentation must be attached .​
