Description
Deadlines:
- PURCHASES – ITS foundations enter into legally binding obligations for upgrading their 4.0 labs by awarding the works/supply contracts by 30 November 2023.
- LAB ACTIVATION – The labs must be made available to students as soon as they are ready and, in any case, from the 2024-2025 training year.
- The call for ITS Academies is aimed at upgrading training labs with 4.0 technologies, by improving the spaces and lab equipment already used by ITS for their current training provision linked to the transformation of work (Transition 4.0, Energy 4.0, Environment 4.0, etc.) and by creating new labs to expand the training provision.
- Upgrading training labs with 4.0 technologies aims to improve the spaces and lab equipment already used for the current training provision linked to the transformation of work (Transition 4.0, Energy 4.0, Environment 4.0, etc.) and to create new labs to expand the training provision (used exclusively for student training), by launching new courses and increasing enrolments, which is also the European target of the measure, to be reached by the end of 2025.
- The overall target of the investment line is to increase the number of students enrolled in the vocational training system (ITS) to at least double the figure at the start of the PNRR.
- The decree sets a total of €450,001,611.10 for ITS Academy foundations that had at least one active training course leading to a qualification in 2020 and 2021.
- Each institution has a specific, individual amount already allocated: at the bottom of this page you can freely download the annex showing the sum allocated to each body (see annex: Riparto ITS Laboratori).
- Each body must split its cost items as follows:
- Min 60% – Expenditure on innovative technical equipment and furniture for 4.0 labs
- Max 30% – Any (optional) building works strictly connected to the labs concerned
- Max 10% – Design and technical/operational costs
- The amounts, already preloaded in the system on the basis of the allocated resources and the maximum spending percentages, may be changed by the ITS foundations, subject to the spending constraints and ceilings.
Revised text:
- PROCUREMENT – ITS foundations undertake to formalise the contractual agreements for optimising their 4.0 labs, awarding the works/supply contracts by 30 November 2023.
- LABS IN OPERATION – The lab facilities must be made operational for students as soon as they are available, and in any case from the 2024-2025 academic year.
- The call for ITS Academies aims to upgrade training areas with 4.0 technologies, by modernising the spaces and lab equipment already used by ITS for their current teaching provision, in line with the changing world of work (Transition 4.0, Energy 4.0, Environment 4.0, etc.), and by creating new facilities to expand the training provision.
